AVANGARDI LLC was founded in 2004. At first the company imported furniture materials from Turkey and sold them in Georgia; from 2010 it began manufacturing furniture surfaces and worktops.

The company's two main sales territories are Tbilisi and Kutaisi, where it is present with its own shops. The manufactured product is supplied to furniture makers in Tbilisi and in the regions. For small businesses and individual craftsmen it makes non-standard furniture parts and offers a range of services: edge banding, bar corners, dining tables, HPL-faced fronts and their installation.

In January 2020 a new main showroom opened in Tbilisi (66 Peikarta Street), which drove demand and sales up. That proved an important factor in coming through the economic crisis caused by the pandemic relatively easily. At the beginning of 2023 a new production facility came into operation, which significantly improved the quality of the output.

The company works closely with the furniture cluster created with the support of GIZ (Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit) and seeks to take part in projects that help develop Georgian furniture manufacturing. In 2018 the company produced furniture parts and components for furniture by Georgian designers, which was presented at an exhibition in Germany.
